The entire staff is so kind and attentive to my dogs. They go over and beyond to help with my overly anxious dog and everyone loves on my senior when I bring them in. My senior suffers with arthritis and Doc Whitten suggested we try laser therapy for her instead of surgery. We are only one week in and already seeing an improvement.

I have contacted the hospital today, as I was referred to it for being able to issue travel certificates. Even though our travel dates are in October, and our cats would require vaccinations first which will entail establishing them as a patient, we were denied services with a motivation of “we only provide health certificate services to an established patients”. To my note that we wanted to establish today (Aug 21st) and get the certificates in the beginning of October, we were still denied a service of vaccination. Very poor service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We can't say enough good things about Dr. Allison Wansky and the entire team. They are absolutely amazing! We gladly go out of our way to bring Bear here because I know he's receiving the very best care. Everyone on the staff is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and they truly treat every pet like family. The best compliment I can give is that Bear actually wags his tail when we walk through the door! That says everything about how comfortable and loved he feels there. Thank you, Dr. Wansky and the entire staff, for always taking such wonderful care of Bear. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a veterinary team that genuinely cares.

Altoona Animal Hospital has taken amazing care of our dog for years. They board our crazy pup, make sure she gets plenty of playtime, and always treat her like she’s part of the family. We’ve also used their grooming services, and they always do a fantastic job. Over the years, our dog has gotten into things she definitely shouldn’t have and has had her share of health scares, but the team at Altoona Animal Hospital has always been there to help get her back on her feet. Their staff is caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely loves animals. We’re incredibly thankful for everything they’ve done and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust.
